SportEaser Studio

Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data SportEaser Studio collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. SportEaser Studio is a mobile app for broadcasting and recording sports events, published by SporteaserApp d.o.o., Belgrade, Serbia.

1.Who we are

SporteaserApp d.o.o., with head offices in Belgrade, Serbia ("SportEaser", "we", "us"), is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, unless stated otherwise in Section 8.

This policy covers the SportEaser Studio mobile app and the parts of our website that relate to it. Our other products — SportEaser App, Scoreboard, Cafe Scoreboard, Scorekeeper and Host — are covered by their own policies where those differ.

3.Data you give us

Account

To use the app you create a SportEaser account or sign in with an existing one. This requires a name, an email address and a password, and may include a phone number and the club, league or organisation you represent. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never visible to us.

Match and competition data

When you set up and run a broadcast you enter data about the match: teams, competition, date and venue, scores, times, and match events such as goals, points, fouls, cards and substitutions. Where you use SportEaser Studio together with our other products, this data may be linked to fixtures and competitions already held on the platform, and may be published on publicly accessible results pages.

Branding material you upload

Club crests, sponsor logos, banners and title cards that you add to your overlay are stored so that they can be used in your broadcasts.

Support and correspondence

If you write to us for support, we keep your message, your contact details and our replies so that we can help you and keep a record of the issue.

Purchases

If you buy a plan or subscription, Google Play or the Apple App Store processes the payment and tells us that the purchase happened, so we can unlock the features. We receive the subscription status and a transaction identifier. We never receive your card number or bank details.

4.Video, audio and recordings

This is the part of the app that handles the most sensitive material, so we set it out separately.

  • Capture and composition happen on your device. The camera and microphone feed, and the scoreboard graphics drawn over it, are processed locally on your phone or tablet.
  • Live broadcasts go where you send them. When you start a broadcast, the composed video and audio are transmitted directly to the destination you have configured — for example YouTube, Facebook or another RTMP endpoint. From that moment the content is in the hands of that platform and is subject to its own privacy policy.
  • Recordings are stored on your device unless you choose to upload them. If Studio uploads recordings to SportEaser servers or a cloud provider, describe that here: where they are stored, for how long, and who can see them.
  • We do not watch, scan or analyse your video and audio content for any purpose other than delivering it as you have instructed, and we do not use it to train any system or model.

5.Device permissions

PermissionWhy the app asks for it
CameraTo capture the video you broadcast and record
MicrophoneTo capture the audio you broadcast and record
Photos, media and filesTo save recordings and to load crests, logos and banners you choose
Network accessTo transmit the broadcast and sync match data
NotificationsTo alert you about broadcast status and account matters

You can refuse or withdraw any permission in your device settings at any time. The features that depend on it will stop working, but the rest of the app continues to function.

6.Data we collect automatically

When you use the app we collect technical information: device model and operating system, app version, language and region settings, IP address, crash and diagnostic reports, and events describing how the app is used — for example when a broadcast starts, how long it runs, and which errors occur.

We use this to keep the service working, to find and fix bugs, to detect abuse, and to understand which features are worth improving. It is not used to build advertising profiles.

7.Why we use your data, and on what legal basis

8.People who appear in a broadcast

If you are a player, official or spectator who appears in a broadcast made with SportEaser Studio, this section is for you.

SportEaser Studio is a tool. The person or organisation operating the app — the club, league, organiser or individual running the broadcast — decides what to film, where to send it and how long to keep it. In data protection terms, that person or organisation is the controller for the recorded content, and we act on their instructions in providing the tool and, where applicable, the transmission.

That means the broadcaster is responsible for having the right to film and broadcast you, and for obtaining consent where consent is required — including the consent of a parent or legal guardian where a minor is filmed. Our Terms and Conditions require this of every user of the app.

If you want a broadcast or recording removed, or want to know what was kept and why, contact the club or organiser who made it first, as they hold the material and made the decisions about it. If you cannot reach them, or they do not respond, write to us at privacy@sporteaser.app and we will help where we are able to — including by removing content that is hosted on our own systems and by suspending accounts that broadcast people without the right to do so.

9.Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only in the following situations:

Service providers who work for us

We use third parties to host our infrastructure, deliver streams, report crashes, analyse product usage, send email and provide support tooling. They may process personal data on our behalf, only on our instructions, and are bound by contract to keep it confidential.

List the actual providers here — for example the hosting provider and region, the crash reporting SDK, the analytics SDK, the email provider. Google Play requires this to match what you declare in the Data safety form, so do not leave it generic.

Streaming destinations you choose

When you broadcast to a platform such as YouTube or Facebook, or to any other RTMP destination, the content and the associated stream metadata go to that platform under your own account there. What that platform does with it is governed by its privacy policy, not ours.

The SportEaser platform

Where you use Studio together with our other products, match and account data is shared between them so that fixtures, results and teams stay in sync. Data that a competition has chosen to publish — for example live results — will be publicly visible.

App stores

Google and Apple process purchases and provide subscription status, and receive data in accordance with their own policies.

Legal and business situations

We may disclose data where required by law, a court order or a valid request from a competent authority, where necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets — in which case the acquirer remains bound by this policy.

10.International transfers

We are established in Serbia. Some of our providers process data in the European Economic Area or elsewhere. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or out of Serbia, we rely on the transfer mechanisms available under applicable law, including adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses, and we take steps to ensure the data remains protected.

Name the countries or regions where your servers and main providers are located.

11.How long we keep data

DataRetention
Account dataFor as long as your account is open, then deleted within [30] days of closure
Match and results dataKept as part of the competition record, and may remain published where the competition requires it
Recordings stored on our systems[state the period, or "not applicable — recordings stay on your device"]
Crash and diagnostic logs[e.g. 90 days]
Support correspondence[e.g. 2 years] after the issue is closed
Invoices and accounting recordsAs long as tax and accounting law requires

We may keep data longer where necessary to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or enforce our Terms.

12.Security

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access control, and regular review of our systems. Broadcasts are transmitted over the protocol supported by the destination you choose; where that destination supports an encrypted connection, the app uses it.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that data will never be accessed, altered or lost. Use a strong, unique password and keep your account credentials to yourself. If you believe your account has been compromised, tell us at privacy@sporteaser.app.

13.Your rights

Under the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted, where we no longer have a reason to keep it;
  • ask us to restrict how we use your data, or object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
  • receive your data in a machine-readable format and have it transferred to another provider;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
  • complain to a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these, write to privacy@sporteaser.app. We answer within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia, or to the data protection authority of the EEA country where you live.

14.Deleting your account and your data

You can delete your account from within the app, under [Settings → Account → Delete account], or by writing to privacy@sporteaser.app.

Deleting your account removes your profile, your login and the branding material you uploaded. Recordings held on your own device are not affected and remain yours to keep or delete. Match results that form part of a competition record may be retained by the organiser of that competition, and content you have already published to a third-party platform must be removed there by you.

Google Play requires a web page where users can request account and data deletion without installing the app. Publish that page and link it here and in the Play Console.

15.Children

SportEaser Studio is intended for adults: coaches, club staff, organisers and operators aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly create accounts for children, and the app is not directed at them.

Minors do, however, appear in youth sport. Where a broadcast includes minors, the person or organisation running the broadcast is responsible for obtaining the consent of a parent or legal guardian in advance, and for following the rules of the competition and the venue. If you believe a child has been filmed or broadcast without that consent, write to privacy@sporteaser.app and we will act on it as a priority.

If we learn that we hold account data belonging to a child, we delete it.

16.Cookies on our website

The SportEaser Studio app does not use cookies. Our website uses cookies that are necessary for the site to work, and [state whether you use analytics or marketing cookies, and how consent is obtained].

17.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent.
